A Big Thank You!
This is a big thank you to everyone who made this year’s Empty Bowls Meal a wonderful success. We had more than 55 hand crafted bowls made by local artisans. Scrumptious soups from the Newfane Store, the West Townshend Country Store and Vermont Specialties on Grafton Rd, bread from the West Townshend Country Store and focaccia made by Bread from the Earth. Fun and danceable music by Laurie Indenbaum and Andy Davis. There were several volunteers who happily served, and washed the dishes, and a hardworking webmaster. From the community we were also supported by River Bend Farm Market, 802 Credit Union and WW Building Supply.
Counting Down to Thursday!
Our beautifully crafted hand made ceramic, wooden and glass bowls are arriving. We are making some of the final preparations for Thursday evening Empty Bowls Meal. There are still seats available. We hope to see you there in your community support of the Townshend Community Food Shelf.
